Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Full Coverage Foundation Review

I love the packaging! ^^
it's very sleek and travel-friendly

Please keep in mind that I have oily/combo skin

How much product is inside: 50 mL equal to 1.7 Fl Oz. (measurements taken from packaging)
What it claims on the tarte website: "long-wearing, skin-perfecting full coverage foundation with UVA/UVB SPF 15 infused with Amazonian clay for better, longer, truer wear." 12-hour makeup and oil-free.
Color range: There are 16 shades you can choose from. I love the system that this foundation has to finding your shade because it ranges from fair to deep but they also incorporate your undertone color. It's really neat because I have more of a yellow undertone, but the shade with the pink undertone suited the shade of my face more. My face is more lighter than the rest of my body and I have seen that there is a tiny bit of pink undertone in my face, just a tat though. This foundation fits the shade of my face so perfect! I was so amazed because this is the first ever foundation that actually suits me very well. I do have to say that when I first grabbed this product I got a really lighter color before I got the shade I have now and I could definitely see that it wasn't the shade for me. I am very happy with the shade I have now though. It oxidizes a bit but it doesn't turn orange or anything on me which was something that a worker at ulta was telling me about but I was just like whatever, i'll see how it'll works for me ^^
Lasting power/wear-ability: I have to say that the longevity of this foundation on me is amazing!! I wore this three times before doing this review so I can get a full opinion and I really love the finish and the longevity of this product. The final straw that made me fully fall in love with this foundation was when I wore it to a wedding and usually after about 4 hours my face would need an oil-blotting sheet badly!!! During throughout the night I went to the bathroom a couple of times and every time I would see myself in the mirror my foundation looked so lovely :3
The finish of this foundation is semi-matte and it's a medium to high coverage foundation. I don't have bad skin at all (only whiteheads and blackheades here and there sometimes) but I do have some redness around my nose and cheeks . I am a lucky girl I know ; ~; this foundation makes me looks flawless and covers up everything nicely with only one layer.
Texture of product: The consistency of this foundation is very mousse like and thick, not watery or runny at all. Once it's on your face the foundation basically melts into your skin and doesn't feel heavy at all, it's very lightweight as many other people that own this foundation always say.
Price: I bought mine at ulta for 38 dollars. It's pricey of course since it's a high end item but on the brightside it comes with 1.7 fl oz which is more than the typical 1.0 fl oz that comes in most foundations ^ u ^
Rate/thoughts: All in all I have to say that it is worth the 38 dollars if you want to invest into a high-end foundation.. I'm not sure how it would work on someone with normal to dry skin though sadly :l i'm sorry but if you do have normal to dry skin and have this foundation please let me know how it works for you! I will definitely want to re-purchase it when I run out because to me I could see the difference between this foundation and my drugstore foundations.
I'm going to rate it 10/10 cute corgis puppies running around~

I will love to hear everyone's input on this foundation if you do own it so just comment!

Open when letters.... DIY

I'm sure you've seen this DIY everywhere on pinterest because it's a really cute and meaningful gift. I love doing DIY's for my boyfriend because I never get him anything but I do try to give him something that comes from the heart and is more meaningful than when I buy him something. ^^ I love my boyfriend and sometimes I don't show it as much to him, so I decided that doing this DIY would be perfect.
Doing DIYs means more to me than getting him something from the store because I make everything with love and I put a lot of effort into them....  A LOT OF EFFORT AND LOOOOOOOVE. I spend at least two days writing 10 letters for him and having to take breaks since hand cramps ^ n ^ wahhhhh.
All in all it was worth it, I just want to make my boyfriend happy like any other girlfriend out there and would go to the greatest lengths to do that. My lengths are limited though sometimes I must admit that hahaha.

My mom has always taught me that if you don't have a lot of money doing DIYs is the best way to go to show you still want to give them a little something and it's also fun.
My mom loves pinterest and she's always been a crafty person since I was a kiddo. You guys should have seen my graduation party haha you could see that my mom is crafty and loves pinterest, all the things she made were so cute and they made me happy! <3

(tokki aka the bunny that Aaron took me to make on my birthday last year is holding the letters for now till I give them to my cutie bear. Oh btw tokki smells like cupcakes ^^ heheh)

If you have a pinterest, you should follow me because i'm very new to having an account finally :>

My Summer Must-Haves! 2014

A cute hat or a nice hat because it's summer and you want to protect your face from the heat... well I would assume you would want to, and I hope you all are protecting your cute faces! :>

2.
A nice kimono to keep you covered up and it's really flow-y so it's doesn't get as hot as a thick cardigan

 3. & 4.
Sunglasses are a need for everyone in the summertime... These two are really cute and they don't cost a lot at all which I like LOVE :3 I don't spending a lot on sunglasses because I always lose or break them. I really like the mirrored sunnies because then people can't see my eyes under them and  the color of the mirror lens is cute. I love the combination, these mirror type sunnies are really in this summer so I will sure snag me some and you should too!!

 5.
I personally only like wearing one-piece swimsuits because I have issues with how my tummy looks. My point is just because I like wearing one-pieces doesn't mean I have to look like an old lady :B One-pieces are really cute!!! Any cute swimsuit is a need in the summer because obviously everyone goes swimming! ^^ It get so hot you just want to jump into a nice cool pool and swim around, pretending you're a mermaid... aka what I do haha

  6.
Breezy shoes like sandals are the biggest thing I need to buy to prepare for the summertime. These sandals have really been grabbing my attention I think they are stylish and cute all in one. I would rather be were these breezy shoes than flip flops but that's just meeee. Whatever you like to wear, you wear. These are just my silly opinions and this is my blog so....

 7.
Of course a light flow-y dress is a must-have for me... Dresses are so comfortable and perfect for the summertime (all seasons for me though haha) I love dresses because they are already a complete outfit and you don't have to put some much time and effort into your outsit that day, plus there are so many cute dresses out there!!! Pastels is a thing in this in the stores which makes my heart so happy!!! This gal like many other gals out there love her pastel colors
 ^ o ^ hehe

Other Must-Haves
- sunscreen
-A good book
-nice sheer lipstick or lipbalm with a hint of color
-moisturizing lotion and a nice fruity scent lotion
-bright nail polish
-waterproof mascara
-fake tanner lotions

If anyone has ideas for a blog post or just wants to say anything just comment and I shall get back to you :3
oh by the way I got a new haircut for the summertime and i've been wanting to do it forever

whatca guys think????? I like it but i'm still getting use to the bangs and I think I look silly, maybe because those pictures were bad and my makeup was faded :B idk idkkk

Instagram: May 2014 recap

May was a very interesting month and a lovely month :3 In May I started using instagram more and more! Now it's a part of my social network stream that I must go on which I never thought would happen because I was that type of person who was so anti-instagram but look at me now hahaha....
I decided that every month I will take some pictures from my instagram feed and up them on a big-o collage and put it up on here ^^ I've seen many blogs do this and I think it's pretty neat so I am taken this idea and bring it to my blog as well.

The photos are all in order from the beginning of the month till the end of the month, so here are more descriptions of the some of the photos and what-not :>
Going from left -> right

In May 1st (first photo) my blog reached 100 followers on bloglovin! Which made me pretty happy. May 4th (fifth photo) was Star Wars day so obviously I would have to post a photo like that! I am a big Star Wars fan and what-not but there so much more I want to know about that whole fandom since there's so much to know about each detail about Star Wars which I must learn/read about in the books!!! Everything please ^^ In May 15 (eighth photo) I received my tassel in the mail because I ordered my cap and gown through the interwebs. May 24th (ninth photo) I shared a photo of the lovely cute bag that my best friend gave me it was my birthday present but I haven't seen her for a while so she finally had the opportunity to give it to me ^^ The next day aka May 25th (tenth photo) I posted the picture I took when I went to see metronomy, it was after the concert so that's why the venue's lights were turned off. Moving on to the second to last photo which is me in my corgi kigurumi that I love loads! The very last photo that I added in the collage that was taken on May 31st was a selfie or selca with my best friend at my graduation party.
